Sigil of Baphomet Tag

Also known as Goat of Mendes or the Sabbatic Goat, the original Baphomet sigil, which contained a goat head in an inverted pentacle with Hebrew letters at the five points of the pentagram, first appeared in a book by French occultist Stanislas de Guaita in 1897. The Hebrew letters spell Leviathan, and numerous variations of this symbol have been used by different groups since its inception.
